Dear all,

Please find attached a little blurb and web link below:

Really looking forward to hearing from you!

All the best

Petra Nordqvist

We are recruiting a Research Associate to work on an ESRC-funded research project, ‘Curious Connections: The Impact of Donating Egg and Sperm on Donors’ Everyday Life and Relationships’. The project is directed by Dr Petra Nordqvist and will be based at the University of Manchester.

Applications are invited from candidates who hold a PhD in a social science discipline, are able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of theory and research relating to the sociology of intimacy and personal life, a strong grounding in qualitative research methodologies and extensive experience of qualitative interviewing and analysis of qualitative interview data.  Knowledge and understanding of theory and research relating to reproductive donation, new reproductive technologies, kinship and relatedness, as well as experience of using a CAQDAS package (eg NVivo, ATLAS.ti) for analysing interview data, would be an advantage.
