Dear List, I am pulling together an event for the Irish Literary Society here in London on the tradition of London Irish poets and poetry. I would be delighted to receive any suggestions for individual works or authors to be included. We will be reflecting on and reading from that tradition and inviting poets to read from their work. So while we will consider the usual names (Yeats, MacNeice, Clarke, Allingham...) we will be looking at current work and whether there is or is not a connection with that earlier tradition.
