The British Postgraduate Network for Chinese Studies has a new Communications Officer. Yixin Wang is a PhD student in Applied Linguistics at Swansea University. She will be responsible for managing the BPCS mailing as well as communication with external

I would like to thank everyone who has worked with me over the years at China Postgraduate Network and then the British Postgraduate Network for Chinese Studies. We have managed to add our fair bit to building a community of young China scholars, and to
improving a popular mailing list which promotes China events both in the UK and internationally. Members' feedback shows CPN / BPCS helped in finding jobs and fellowships, participating in interesting conferences, and fostering academic contacts. Thanks to
all BPCS members who worked with us on improving how the network functions.
