I had assumed some sort of catastrophic failure of a manual handling procedure was at the root of it, myself.

I was warned about psychoactive spores, moulds and fungus when I started my training.  But who is really strict about always wearing a mask in the stacks?

I don't know, but it's keeping us entertained at work. Clearly someone has too much time on their hands (or illegal chemicals in their bloodstream)
