We are organizing a workshop on “Risk Quantification and Extreme Values in Applications” from 15-17 February 2017 at the Bernoulli Center at EPFL. Prior to this main event, from 13-14 February 2017, we are organizing a winter school on "Recent Advances in Extremes" at EPFL with lectures by Jonathan Tawn and Clément Dombry. We strongly encourage young researchers to participate in the winter school and workshop. Limited funding is available for external PhD students to attend both events.
