Hi Ian, Our NICU don't have a dedicated air tube system so rely on porters to transport samples to the lab which invariably delays the results but, more importantly, the QuikRead go only requires 10uL of blood. It was being distributed in the UK by Oxford Biosystems but has recently been acquired by Roche. As you'll see from the test kit information currently both wrCRP and CRP methods available however, due to an issue earlier this year, Orion are predicting that the earliest estimate for relaunch of wrCRP will be early 2017. I also understand that they'll withdraw the CRP method when wCRP is available again. If you'd like any further information, just let me know.
