Dear All,
We are attending a term newborn boy of Southeast Asian descent who presented with untroubled cyanosis at 4 hours of age.
Blood gas on the Radiometer 800 series should SHb detected flag.
Both parents do not flag as sulfhaemoglobin detected. No drug exposures.
We would like to quantify the amount of Sulfhaemoglobin to adjust management.
Does anyone have a method? Any ideas on further diagnosis?
Cheers,

Michael P Metz
