Dear Maria-Luisa, the very slow result display might be due to an older SPM12 version, thus I would first try to update SPM12 to the recent version. To save thresholded surface results in CAT12 you can also use the "Threshold and Transform spmT maps" that works as well with surfaces. Simply apply the resp. thresholds and use the overlay function in "Display surfaces".
