Dear All

With Joseph Ibrahim at Leeds Beckett University, I'm currently assembling an edited collection on the nature and state of contemporary left-wing groups and social movements. The aim of the edited book is to take stock of where is Left is today by focusing on (e.g.) the state of leftist trade union activism and community unionism, different radical social movements, left-wing media outlets, parliamentary left-wing political parties and activists, leftist community groups and voluntary associations, left-wing networks, austerity and the left, social policy and the left, leftist public spheres and public spaces, affects and emotions of the left, identity politics of the left, and so on.

The collection will be part of a relatively new book series called Routledge Studies in Radical History and Politics (The link to the series is here https://www.routledge.com/series/RSRHP).

If you might be interested in contributing a chapter to this edited collection then please send an abstract to Joseph ([log in to unmask]) and myself ([log in to unmask]) by Monday 31st October.

Many thanks and best wishes,

John
