The Royal Mint Museum is looking for formal expressions of interest from writers on the production of a children’s guidebook for the Royal Mint Experience. The expressions of interest will be used to put together a project proposal and budget for its creation.

 

In order to provide a level playing field and enable us to make a clear assessment of the work to be done we are asking for responses to the brief attached. After the many discussions among networks regarding asking for things for free, we hope that what we are asking for in this case is not burdensome or inappropriate. Should the project receive the go-ahead, a shortlist of writers will be drawn from the expressions of interest. All costs going forward will be included in that project budget.  

 

We are asking for submission of expressions of interest in the format specified by 12pm (midday) on Monday 8^th August.

 

I will be on annual leave until Monday 1^st August, and will be able to reply to any queries regarding the brief at that point.
