The visit will include the two sites :  the main reading room in the Library which contains the The Women's Art Library (MAKE)  and The Constance Howard Gallery  in nearby Deptford Town Hall Building  which contains the Goldsmiths Textile Collection (with its own reading room and gallery space)

The Collection, founded in the 1980s by Constance Howard and Audrey Walker, comprises textile art, embroidery and dress from all continents

Directions to Goldsmiths can be found here: http://www.gold.ac.uk/find-us/.

We will be meeting at 2 pm at the Reception area of the library, which is number 31 on this campus map: http://www.gold.ac.uk/campus-map/ (corner of Dixon Rd and Lewisham Way).

Please note that Unfortunately, the Constance Howard Gallery is only accessible by stairs due to the limitations of a listed building. If anyone is unable to use stairs arrangements can be made to transport items to the other site so do get in touch.
