The visit will include the two sites : the main reading room in the Library which contains the The Women's Art Library (MAKE) and The Constance Howard Gallery in nearby Deptford Town Hall Building which contains the Goldsmiths Textile
Collection (with its own reading room and gallery space)
The Collection, founded in the 1980s by Constance Howard and Audrey Walker, comprises textile art, embroidery and dress from all continents

We will be meeting at 2 pm at the Reception area of the library, which is number 31 on this campus map: http://www.gold.ac.uk/campus-map/ (corner
of Dixon Rd and Lewisham Way).
Please note that Unfortunately, the Constance Howard Gallery is only accessible by stairs due to the limitations of a listed building. If anyone is unable to use stairs arrangements can be made to transport items to the other site so do
get in touch.
The visit will offer the opportunity to view items from the collection and find out more about the services as well as to meet staff
