ALISS http://www.alissnet.org.uk are pleased to announce an opportunity to visit the Special Collections & Archives of the LSE Library. The Library is currently hosting a small exhibition entitled Endless Endeavours . This marks the 150th anniversary of a petition to Parliament signed by 1,499 women calling for women's suffrage. The exhibition celebrates the achievements of those early suffragists and the organisation which became the Fawcett Society. Our visit will incorporate  a guided tour of the exhibition and a talk form one of its specialist curators. It  will also offer the opportunity to view items from the  suffrage archive collection, the specialist Women’s Library reading room  find out more about the services  and meet staff
