Hello everyone

It seems that Oliver's very useful guide for ArcGIS can still be downloaded from here http://orca.cf.ac.uk/85324/

Best wishes,
Rebecca

Hi Mike,

I had a paper copy of the document, but have managed to mislay when moving jobs. Would you be able to send a copy this way as well?

All the best,

Grahame

Rachel,

There is a advisory note from RCHMWales (Processing and Working with LiDAR Data in ArcGIS: A Practical Guide for Archaeologists - Oliver Davis) which should answer your question. I have sent you a separate email with the document attached rather than posting it on the forum website. It used to be available from RCHMWales website but when I just tried the url I got an error message so either it is no longer available or it has been moved elsewhere.

Regards,

Mike

Subject: LIDAR Advice

Hello All,

I am after some LiDAR advice. We have just received some excellent LiDAR data from a project with all the tiles georectified, but when I load them into our GIS (ArcMap 9.3.1) they are solid black tiles. I know I need to change something in the symbology but can't make it work to show the features. The files are DTM saved as .asc files.

Any help gratefully received.

Best wishes,
Rachel
