Part-time German Graduate Teaching Assistant (0.45 FTE)

£25,023 - £30,738 (Grade 6) p.a. pro rata

 

Applications are invited for the above temporary part time post working in the School of Modern Languages & Cultures.

 

Duties will include assistance with language teaching including development of teaching resources and marking assignments. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake a PhD in German culture and society since 1800; fees waived throughout.

 

Candidates should have at least a good undergraduate degree (BA or equivalent) be a native speaker of German with excellent language skills, as well as ambition to pursue research to doctoral level.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to commence 5th September 2016 or as soon as possible thereafter.  The post is available until 31st August 2019 with it may be possible to extend for a further year.
