When I was working as the Volunteer Management Adviser for the London Museums Hub I worked with the Cinema Museum and House Mill who were both completely volunteer run and brilliant.

Good morning all

 

I’m aware this may have been a GEM mail topic previously but it would be great to hear your thoughts on really brilliant museums or other cultural organisations in London, which are solely volunteer-led.

I’m really interested in hearing about organisations which are engaging, exciting and manage to navigate the possible challenges which come with having a volunteer team. I’m sure there are loads of examples but really keen to see what you all think (any Google search of mine may well miss some!)
