Hello all

Please see below and attached for a Call Out for our Workforce Development Conference on 30th November 2016 being held at the Royal Pavilion & Museums.

Workforce Development Conference

Developing a skilled and diverse workforce in the cultural sector

Conference organised by Royal Pavilion & Museums, Brighton & Hove, and funded by Arts Council England under its Major Partner Museum programme.

Wednesday 30 November 2016

Call for participation

Colleagues working in museums, galleries and cultural venues are invited to put forward expressions of interest to participate in a day-long conference being held at Brighton Museum & Art Gallery on Wednesday 30 November 2016.

The Workforce Development Programme at Royal Pavilion Museums, Brighton and Hove, aims to develop a skilled, engaged and entrepreneurial workforce by offering frontline staff the opportunity to work in different departments and get involved in projects across the organisation. Using WFD as a springboard for discussion the conference aims to review and evaluate existing programmes, consider and question challenges and discuss and devise future ways forward.

RPM are keen to hear from colleagues that can contribute case studies, presentations, provocations, workshop activities or an exhibition stall  based on their own participation in or leadership of initiatives that;

* Support professional and personal development amongst staff

*       Deliver staff training

*       Address skills gaps

* Ensure equality and diversity in the workforce

Please fill in the attached form and return it by 10am on Monday 18 July to Conference Coordinator Lindsey Smith: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>
