It was actually “Kung Fu” and his tutor was the Master. A walking road trip with flashbacks – Remember it well. Jam packed with proverbs that make lots of sense (maybe) Not to be Confucius I think Kung Fu Panda 3 was better though.

There was an episode of the 1980’s series King fu  with David  Carradine (?) when our hero passed a ‘grasshopper’ test of walking over rice paper without damage

 

The truck drivers etc have mastered the same skill despite the added handicap of stray grit, wire , aggregate and seams in the paper.
