I’m not quite sure what you are asking.  If you create a separate 2D file, are you not able to display that?  Or is it that you want Analysis to do the projection on the fly (so without having to create a separate 2D file)?  Analysis v2 does not do that (Analysis v3 will) but you can show all the planes at once by opening out the z scrollbar (middle button + drag on the scrollbar).

You are right. I could view NC planes from 3D spectra by using the appropriate Sparky pipe2ucsf command to convert spectra from nmrPipe to Sparky (UCSF) format.
