Applications are open for this 5 week part-time online course in Field Techniques for Surveying Vegetation at the University of Oxford.

The course enables students to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to conduct effective vegetation surveys and enabling them to choose the correct sampling strategies. Taught by Dr Jocelyne Hughes, the course offers expert practical training for conservationists working in a diversity of habitats and biomes.

As a part-time course, Field Techniques for Surveying Vegetation is ideal for professional ecological consultants, environmental managers and rangers, research and postgraduate students, and volunteers that are seeking flexible study combined with expert training. The course can be taken from anywhere in the world and is international in its use of case studies and examples.
