Assistant Archivist (maternity cover) – The IET Archives Centre, Savoy Hill House, London

12 months fixed term contract
£22,500 per annum


The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) is one of the world’s largest engineering institutions with over 167,000 members in 127 countries. The IET Library and Archives contains a world-class collection of printed and digital resources, covering the development of science, engineering and technology from the 14th century to the latest electronic books and journals. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic professional archivist to manage and promote these collections to new audiences.

Based in our new Archives Centre in central London, this is an exciting opportunity to work with the archivist and gain experience on projects including cataloguing, research, exhibitions, website development and social media. This is a full-time post for a period of 12 months.
