A quick reminder that the deadline for applications for the ARA conference is this Friday.

*With apologies for cross posting*

Following the successful CAIS/FARMER conference held in Dundee in April on the theme of 'Activation and Impact: the societal role of records and record-keepers’, the organisers are pleased to announce the availability of a bursary for attendance at the next ARA conference, to be held in London on 31 August – 2 October.

Applications are welcomed from current (or graduated within the last year) archives and records students. The bursary will cover the full conference registration fee, including the conference dinner. The registration fee also includes two nights accommodation on Wed 31 August and Thurs 1 September. Reasonable travel costs will also be covered. Attendance at the full conference is essential.

The successful applicant will be required to submit a report of their experience at the conference to the organisers and to ARC, within a month of the conference. Publication will be at the discretion of the ARC editors.

To apply please send your name, institution, email address and 250 words on how you would benefit from attendance, to me at [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> by Friday 22 July.
