Hi All,

A brand new opportunity has come to the market for a Biostatistician to Join a cutting edge company based in beautiful Dublin.

 

The Ideal Candidate is a talented Biostatistician with experience in Biomarker / Cancer Diagnostic.

 

Role Summary:

 

To use statistics to contribute to the  design of a new multi-gene Cancer Diagnostic test, by determination of key parameters of the final diagnostic assay.

This includes providing statistical input and analysis of experimental design, product development, validation studies, large clinical datasets, regulatory submission and commercialisation plan.

This person will collaborate with a cross functional team to plan and design meaningful experimental studies, analyse and communicate results from these studies and engage in effective decision-making process.

 

It is essential that you have gained strong experience in statistics and complex analysis (commercial or Academia Environment) and have a solid understanding of experimental design, multivariate data analysis and clinical development (eg survival analysis, logistic regression, sample size estimation).

 

Other Preferred Skills:

 

- Statistical Softwares: Exposure to R and/or SPSS is mandatory, SAS (preferable)

- ROC Curve

- Decision Tree

- Biomarker

- Cancer Diagnostic Assay

- Understanding of GLP good laboratory practice

- Understanding of GCP good clinical practice

 

The successful candidate will also have a positive and pro-active attitude characterized by distinct problem solving as well as organisational and time management skills.

Writing, oral and presentation skills are also key.
