Role: Freelance Health Economics Advisor - Global Pharma company

Location: Office based in the South of England

Job Type: 12-month contract

Our client is a major top pharmaceutical company with an extremely positive reputation within the market place. As a result of a long-standing contractor recently converting to a permanent position, our client is seeking a Health Economics Advisor to join them on a 12 month rolling contract to be office based in the South of England.

This position will be largely focused on submissions to UK regulations including NICE and AWSMG amongst others. This is a rare opportunity to be focussed on one single product, most likely within their Oncology or Auto-Immune portfolio, though this will be determined post-starting. Through assignation to one specific product, you will be responsible for contributing to all UK related submissions for this product; although there will also be the opportunity to input for related pipeline products.

Requirements:

·         Post-graduate qualification in health economics (or including strong health economics element)

·         Will ideally have 1-2 years’ previous consultancy experience

·         Knowledge of all technical aspects of health economic evaluation, including methods of cost effectiveness analysis and assessment of patient quality of life and functional status would be important, as well as the ability to apply health economics principles to practical issues

·         Good understanding of economic modelling

·         Excellent command of English (spoken/written) is essential
