To remind you of an up-and-coming event—Breaking the Sound Barrier: Women Sounding Out in British Film & Television--organised by our Network to take place at BFI Southbank, NFT 3 on Saturday 18 June, 9.45–5.00pm, to be followed by a reception and Screening of women’s films featuring their work as sound recordists and designers.



We would be grateful if you would circulate news of this event to your students and colleagues.  The programme--which aims to open up the work of women past and present in sound cinema--is pasted below.
