CILIPS West Branch event: NLS in the West.

National Library of Scotland and Kelvin Hall in Glasgow are engaged in an exciting partnership project. Set to open in late 2016, the new Kelvin Hall site will hold the Moving Image Archive (currently located in Hillington) and digital content from the NLS’s extensive collections. This venture will see an expansion of the National Library’s service into the west of Scotland, and the opening of a fantastic new facility in one of Glasgow’s most iconic buildings.  If you would like to find out more, come and hear Dr. John Scally (National Librarian and Chief Executive at the NLS) talk about this project at our NLS in the West event, hosted by CILIPS West branch.

This event will be held at Glasgow Caledonian University on Wednesday 22nd June at 6pm. The event is free and open to all.  Places can be book booked here: http://nlsinthewest.eventbrite.co.uk
