Today, UKeiG has published the call for nominations for the prestigious Tony Kent Strix Award, given in recognition of outstanding practical innovations or achievements in the field of information retrieval in its widest sense. The nomination could highlight achievements in an application or service, or an overall appreciation of past works from which significant advances have emanated. Nominations should reach UKeiG no later than Friday August 26th.
