The Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP) ‘Train the Trainer’ Course

Date: 23-25 November 2016
Venue: Kellogg College, University of Oxford, UK

A 3 day training programme designed for people who want to be more confident in teaching critical appraisal skills to others & critically appraising research evidence.

Aim:
By the end of this course, participants will feel more confident about:

·         Critically appraising research evidence
·         Teaching critical appraisal skills to others

Participants will:
·         Enhance their understanding of evidence-based practice in health and social care
·         Develop their critical appraisal skills
·         Develop their facilitation and teaching skills around the topic of critical appraisal
·         Appreciate how to plan and run critical appraisal workshops and cascade learning
Participants in this training will benefit from having experienced critical appraisal training previously, either from CASP or other training providers.
