Thinking of presenting at the ATLAANZ conference in November? The closing date for expressions of interest is next Monday, July 4!  

You don't need to write a huge amount, or a complex abstract – just give us an outline of what you're thinking, and you can fill in the full details later. There are a lot of options – for example you might:

·        facilitate a workshop

·        showcase a new way of engaging with students

·        let your peers know about your completed or ongoing research

·        contribute to a series of poster presentations

·        lead a 10-minute round-table discussion

The theme for the 2016 Association of Tertiary Learning Advisors of Aotearoa New Zealand (ATLAANZ) conference is "Whakatū-Whakahou: Build and rebuild—responding to new realities".

So you might present on something like the following:

·        How are you responding to the interests and strengths of diverse students?

·        What resources have you developed recently to engage your students in learning?

·        What innovative ideas have you learned about or implemented to develop your own capabilities?

The ATLAANZ conference in November is a fantastic opportunity to share your ideas and practice with other tertiary student support professionals!
