italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies CFP rivista «Notos», numero 4, 2017 - Letteratura e lavoro in Italia: analisi e prospettive Il tema del lavoro e la figura del lavoratore sono al centro di molta narrativa italiana, dall’inizio del Novecento fino ai giorni nostri. Per il critico si pongono numerosi problemi teorici: qual è il modo migliore per affrontare la questione lavorativa? Quale impostazione teorica è più efficace per una lettura trasversale di questi testi? La critica tematica rappresenta una valida soluzione? Quali sono le vie critiche percorribili? Quali i saggi che aprono prospettive necessarie e avvincenti? La pubblicazione è aperta a tentativi di sistematizzazione del panorama letterario che si è concentrato sull’argomento, sia attraverso un’analisi diacronica sia concentrandosi su periodi o autori specifici. Altre questioni aperte: genere letterario di appartenenza; funzionamento dell’impianto narrativo; posizioni politiche espresse dagli autori; trasposizioni cinematografiche o teatrali di testi narrativi; influenza della e sulla letteratura italiana da parte di altre letterature nazionali; punto di vista della letteratura migrante; influenza della scrittura giornalistica sulla produzione letteraria e il caso di giornalisti-scrittori; il rapporto tra la letteratura e le scienze sociali; ecc. For the literary critic who works on that theme, many problems arise: what is the best way to tackle the issue of work in literature? What is the most effective theoretical framework for a transversal reading of these novels? Is the thematic approach a valid solution? What are the critical ways that can be followed? What are the studies which shed light on these necessary and captivating perspectives? Any attempt at systematisation concerning the literary corpus dealing with the theme of work, either through a diachronic analysis or through a focus on a specific period or a specific author, is welcome. Many other issues can be discussed, among which: the literary genre(s) to which these novels belong; the functioning of the narrative system in this kind of novels; the political commitment expressed by authors in their works; the cinematic or theatrical adaptation of narrative texts; the influence of Italian literature on other literatures and vice versa; the point of view expressed on the theme of work in novels written by migrants; the influence of journalistic writing on the literary production and the case of journalists/novelists; the links between literature and social sciences... Abstracts should be up to 300 words long (in Italian or French).
