The Centre for Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging of the Brain (FMRIB) seeks a software developer to work with the analysis group on developing the FMRIB Software Library (FSL). 
 
The post holder will work with the FSL development team, implementing new functionality in FSL, enhancing build/test systems and maintaining the existing codebase. This will also involve interacting with FSL users, both within FMRIB and from the wider neuroimaging community, to resolve issues arising from analysis and software use. Candidates should have a  relevant degree (or equivalent) in a quantitative discipline and strong experience of programming in C/C++. A background in collaborative software development and familiarity with version control systems (e.g., RCS, CVS, git) would be advantageous.
