CFP:
Society for the Philosophic Study of the Contemporary Visual Arts,
Central and Pacific Division APA Meetings, 2017

The Society for the Philosophic Study of the Contemporary Visual Arts (SPSCVA) invites papers to be presented at its divisional meetings held in conjunction with the Central and Pacific Division Meetings of the American Philosophical Association.  Papers may address any topic that involves the connection between philosophy and the visual arts: film, photography, video games, or other visual aesthetic media.

Presentations should be 20-25 minutes (10-12 pages double spaced). Participants must be currently paid members of the SPSCVA. (You do not need to be a member of the SPSCVA to submit a paper for consideration.) Please submit full papers only (not abstracts).  The Society also welcomes proposals for panels, author-meets-critics, or other special sessions, as well as volunteers to serve as panel chairs.

Please submit papers or panel proposals as e-mail attachments, with ‘SPSCVA’ initiating the subject line in your email.
