This two day workshop will offer hands-on learning and focus on techniques to help you retrieve information efficiently and effectively.
Participants will undertake small group exercises, followed by developing a search strategy for their own systematic review. It’s important that participants come to the course with a review topic from which a research question can be generated.
By the end of this two day course participants will have learned how to:
·
Convert the need for information into an answerable question.
·
Transform the question into a search strategy
·
Approach complex search strategy design in different database platforms
·
How to apply a range of methods to undertake supplementary searching for a range of different database platforms and other
sources.
