Special Issue from the Journal of Criminological Research, Policy and Practice.
Title: Gang membership in prison and community contexts
The Journal of Criminological Research, Policy and Practice is pleased to inform that a special issue of Gang membership in prison and community contexts has been published.
Current responses to gang membership in the community and in prison are shrouded in controversy, and the debates associated with this controversy challenge researchers, practitioners
and law enforcement agents involved in tackling gangs worldwide. The result is that interventions and policies have often been developed with little empirical or theoretical support.
The aim of this Special Issue is to highlight cutting-edge research that provides a multi-discipline, multi-method approach to gang membership in community and prison contexts.
