Dear COSCH friends FYI, in case you would like to contribute to it. wishing you all the best Marcello Call for Papers: The Color within the framework of the artistic, architectural and landscape project Color *Culture and Science* Journal *http://jcolore.gruppodelcolore.it/* Deadline July 31^st , 2016 Colour is a psychophysical experience of the observer. The measurement and the study of colour require specific multi-disciplinary skills. Among the most important applications of colorimetry in the cultural heritage field the following are listed: non-destructive analysis (color study and monitoring over time); choice of the best lighting conditions; and classification / identification of materials in archaeological, architectural, and urban contexts. For this reason the choice of the measuring conditions is often dictated by experts from different fields. This Call wants to contribute to the multidisciplinary discussion on the measurement of colour in cultural heritage, focusing on: a) technologies and devices used for the study of colour in the preservation of historical and artistic heritage, b) colour design in architectural and landscape contexts and c) the relationship between instrumentally detected data and colour perception. Submissions focused on intervention methods and working approaches are particularly encouraged. Papers on the following topics will be especially welcome: • joint experiences among different disciplines • testing of new instrumental survey methodologies in support of perceptual evaluations • special and unconventional experiences on the use or application of instrumental data /Color Culture and Science/is an on-line international Journal, freely available for everyone, published by Gruppo del Colore – Associazione Italiana Colore.
