The discontinuation of the EP-1 is bad news....

Anyway, one alternative could be a simple syringe-pump (because of the pressure, make sure to use syringes with screw-lock) as these can be purchased for about 500-750 US $.

Dear all

I am looking for alternatives to the GE P1 pump to pack columns and load crude cell lysate. Are there any other manufacturers around? AFAIK, the Bio-Rad EP-1 has been discontinued. We don't need fancy setups as we already have a few AKTA machines.
