Dear ARA North West members, We would like to invite you to 'Funding for Archives', an ARA North West training event which takes place on Tuesday 12 July 10am-12pm at Cheshire Archives and Local Studies, Cheshire Record Office, Duke Street, Chester CH1 1RL. The aim of the morning is to explore different funding sources for archives. Louise Sutherland, Development Manager of Heritage Lottery Fund North West will talk about HLF funding streams and present a selection of case-studies. This will be followed by Kevin Bolton, Citywide Services Manager, Manchester City Council who will look at alternative funding sources for archives. The morning will provide an opportunity to explore imaginative solutions to funding needs, so please bring your ideas with you! This event is free of charge and will be followed by the ARA North West Regional meeting at 12 noon.
