Biostatistician
Salary: £33,000 – £37,000
Contract: Full time, permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, flexible working
Location: UK Renal Registry, Bristol, UK

 
The UK Renal Registry (UKRR) collects data on patients with kidney failure attending renal units throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Its primary objective is the preparation of an annual report which includes population based audit, patient take-on rates, survival analysis and comparative analysis of quarterly biochemical data. Additionally, it undertakes a range of project work commissioned by others and is increasingly getting involved in pragmatic clinical trials.

The UKRR wish to appoint an enthusiastic and forward thinking statistician to work within our existing team of 3.5 statisticians. The post-holder will undertake statistical analyses and prepare accurate information and statistics required for UKRR publications and reports, contribute to the design, execution and statistical analysis of research projects and assist with the co-ordination and development of data collection and processing activities. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a statistician with a particular interest in "big data" to join a successful and dynamic organisation working closely with the clinical, patient and research communities.
