Our client is a research driven, global, integrated pharmaceutical company who have their offices in over 20 countries and is at the moment looking to build the biometrics team in their US offices. We have already successfully secured one Biostatistical professional to join them and are at the moment looking for a second one. Our client is looking for a highly experienced biostatistical professional that has the capability to work independently, who is innovative and someone who can think outside the box.



You will be expected to provide experienced Statistical insight to the Clinical Development Plans, Clinical Study Protocols and Clinical Study Reports across the Innovative and Approved products/Branded generic portfolio globally.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

*         Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of the data for the Innovative portfolio of small molecules and Biologic projects. These include clinical Phases I - II - III - IV.

*         Responsible for the analysis and interpretation of the data for Regulatory and Market access projects with Approved/Branded generic portfolio, including Devices.

*         You will be expected to work efficiently with the Global Programming group, study data management group and external providers.

*         High-quality inputs into the study design.

*         Expected to demonstrate progressive thinking by suggesting alternative designs and innovative/novel analyses methods.


MINIMUN REQUIREMENTS

*         Minimum MSc level, PhD preferred

*         Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar senior role handling design and analysis of Phase I to IV clinical studies

*         Responsibility for the design and analysis plans for multiple studies using innovative analyses methods.

*         Deep understanding of drug development and the application of statistical rigour to design efficient studies that answer complex scientific questions.

*         Demonstrated competence in statistical discipline (ie. Frequentist and Bayesian)

*         Multivariate methods (MLR, MANOVA, ...), non-parametric methods, categorical analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis

*         Diplomatically assertive and clear communicator.

*         Ability to explain statistics to non-statisticians.

*         Ability to influence peers and senior managers

*         Ability to work cross culture / cross geography areas

*         Direct exposure to mature market Regulator (FDA, EMA, ...) is desirable

*         External recognition desirable (ie. Statistics Journal Reviewer)
