Dear SEDA colleagues

 

We are looking to appoint a new External Examiner for our SEDA-PDF short courses, with effect from 1.11.2016. You will need to have previous experience of convening SEDA-PDF courses, and be able to visit Roehampton twice a year for our 2 SEDA exam boards. The post will be for a three year period. A small fee is payable for your involvement, plus travel expenses.

 

We run 3 courses:

 

·         Supporting Learning (this is an introductory course for PhD students who wish to teach; librarians; e-learning staff  & our part time VLs)

·         Supervising Postgraduate Research (we run this for our new PhD supervisors, in conjunction with the Graduate School)

·         Developing Professional Practice (run for academic staff, with a main focus on the curriculum design / review process)
