To: Members and Friends of TRB's Bridge Data Analysis Working Group (The Bridge DAWG)
Subject: 2nd Call For Abstracts For The Bridge DAWG's Forum on Bridge Life-Cycle Performance Data Analysis at IALCCE2016

This is a reminder that the Transportation Research Board's Bridge Data Analysis Working Group ("the Bridge DAWG") will conduct a forum on bridge life-cycle performance data analysis in conjunction with the Fifth International Symposium on Life-Cycle Civil Engineering (IALCCE2016) on October 17, 2016, in Delft, The Netherlands. Information about IALCCE2016 can be found at http://www.ialcce2016.org/.

Bridge DAWG forums:
* are sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration of the U.S. Department of Transportation, and are conducted by the National Academies' Transportation Research Board.
* foster international discussions of methods of collection and analysis of bridge life-cycle performance data. Presentations address the technical interests of professionals engaged in highway research and engineering design, maintenance, and rehabilitation. Presentations focus on methods of collecting and analyzing life-cycle performance data, and deriving an improved understanding of the causes and mechanisms deterioration.
* are held annually at the TRB Annual Meeting in Washington, DC, and at major international conferences of interest to the highway bridge community.

IALCCE2016 registrants are welcome to attend and present briefings at the forum in two sessions to be conducted in parallel with other Symposium sessions. There is no additional registration requirement or fee. To be added to the agenda, a presentation abstract form1 must be completed and submitted for review and selection. There is no abstract deadline; abstracts are reviewed when received, and presenters are notified as soon as selection decisions are reached.

Forum presentations are usually 20-minutes in length, and each is followed by a 10-minute Q&A/discussion period in which attendees and presenters confer to address the presenter's issues with his or her incomplete work. Full papers are not required, and are not included in the Symposium's proceedings.

For additional information about the Bridge DAWG forum, contact Dr. A. Robert Raab, Senior Program Officer, Transportation Research Board ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>).
