Dear Colleagues,

We are delighted to open bookings for one of our most popular events in the flagship Vitae Connections series: Getting to grips with the job, which will take place in London on 19 July.

Developing researchers can be hugely rewarding but often challenging. This event is for anyone who has recently taken on responsibility for supporting researchers in their professional development, whether as a full-time role or as a part-time activity.

It will help you to 'get to grips' with your new role and:

•	navigate the researcher development landscape, seeing it from institutional, national and international perspectives
•	gain insights into how to add value in your role, create impact and effectively engage researchers in their professional development
•	meet other professionals who support researchers in this way.
