Tenure track or tenured Professor position in Systems Neuroscience
which can be filled on any level of the Aalto University Tenure
Track System (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Full
Professor)
The position will be placed in the Department of Neuroscience and
Biomedical Engineering (NBE) with research methods ranging from
cellular patch-clamp techniques to human neuroimaging using, e.g.,
magnetoencephalography (MEG), functional magnetic resonance imaging
(fMRI) and navigated transcranial magnetic stimulation (nTMS). NBE
is world-renowned for its long-term top-level research on human
systems neuroscience and pioneering development and applications of
MEG technology and signal analysis in basic and clinical research. A
spinoff company of the department is currently the world-leading
manufacturer of MEG devices. At present there are three MEG systems
in Finland.
NBE hosts and develops a national-level open-access research
infrastructure, Aalto NeuroImaging (ANI), with state-of-the-art
