medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture Dear Tom, For what it is worth, Tugwell has recently edited the Primitive Office in MOPH 32 (2015, pp. 383-392). One manuscript (Houston, Menil Foundation, 65-62 DJ ff. 140v-145r), which antedates 1239, offers readings from Ferrandus' *Legenda* (a new edition of which is also contained in Tugwell's volume) at Matins, but Tugwell does not expand on the contents of those readings. The Dominican preacher Pelagius Parvus, who entered the order in the 1220s and was present for Dominic's translation in 1233, knew the story by way of the *Libellus *and Ferrandus' *Legenda *(ed. Tugwell, Disserationes Historicae 34, p. 125).
