Media @ Brighton – External Examiners

 

External Examiners are required for Media Studies BA (Hons) and Environment and Media Studies BA (Hons) at the University of Brighton. 

 

We are seeking two experienced external examiners for our Media Studies BA (Hons) and Environment and Media BA (Hons) at the University of Brighton, School of Media. These innovative courses offer students a wide range of predominantly applied theory-based elective modules, such as Popular Music; Critical Approaches to the Videogame; Film Studies; Mobile Media Cultures; Mediating Science and Technology alongside Video Production and Photographic Practice. Core/mandatory modules include: Media Placement, Research Methods and Methodologies and the Dissertation/ Production-Based Dissertation. 

 

Exam boards are held twice per academic year; in February and June. 

 

Start: September 2016. 

Duration: normally four years.
