Thanks Outi, that's seems plausible - I've already had an off-list reply which had found the reference but with a different publisher. I'll see if I can find a chapter list for Reminiscence Reviewed; like you say it may have renamed.

Kind regards,

Lisa

Lisa - I wonder if the people referring to it actually ever saw the book? The title may have changed, so perhaps it is now Reminiscence reviewed (plus a different subtitle), which I think is the nearest equivalent. It happened to me once that a user couldn't find a book in Danish because there was a typo in the title; several authors had referenced it with the typo (presumably they didn't know Danish), others referred to it correctly. The first lot may of course have seen the book but then cut & pasted the incorrect reference, but it does make me wonder.... Also I seem to remember that somebody once referenced a book which hadn't ever even been published, simply following somebody who had knowledge of the book when it was still being mooted!

One possibility would be to contact the publisher and ask them to flick through their list.

Good luck -

Outi

Subject: Need help with book chapter request

Hi all,

I'm really hoping someone can help with this. We've been asked to supply a book chapter (see below) but can't find the book anywhere - it's not even listed on Blackwells or Amazon! Oddly Google can find quite a few articles referencing it, but no websites with details of the book. Has anyone come across this book, or is able to decipher why we can't find it anywhere? We've found other books by the same author, but not this one.
