London - Library and Academic Adviser (Ref: 35169) Permanent, Part Time

0.6fte, Library and Student Services, London, £25,022* (pro rata) plus London Weighting of £3,984 (pro rata)

Library and Student Services (LiSS) seek to appoint a highly motivated Library and Academic Adviser to assist in the provision of professional services for the university’s London campus. The primary role will be to support and develop the learning, teaching and research/academic literacies of students and academic staff, as well as provide a pedagogically focused subject library resource service to students and academic staff via academic liaison team membership across the London portfolio of courses including Initial Teacher Training, Education Studies, Policing and other related subjects.  In addition, the role will support the development of online content and will contribute to the delivery of a number of transition and retention initiatives across the academic year cycle.

 * Incremental progression up to £30,737 (pro rata) applies, subject to University policy
