Hello, This is a request for information and any advice that members of the network can give me would be greatly appreciated. I am a learning disabilities nurse and I have recently conducted interviews as part of my PhD project. I am struggling to find time to transcribe the recordings from my interviews as I also have to teach and still work part-time in clinical practice. I am unable to obtain internal funding within my University to cover the cost of hiring a transcriber and do not have the personal funds to cover this myself. I am therefore thinking of applying for a small external grant or bursary to cover some of these costs. Can I please ask whether any members of the network have been in a similar situation to me and whether you have managed to obtain a grant to cover the costs of transcription? Does anyone have any suggestions about possible organisations I could approach for funding? I am looking to obtain a small amount (likely less than £500). Many thanks for your time.
