Salary £28982 to £37768 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
Applications are invited for the above post to join an established multidisciplinary research team investigating the mechanisms of arthritis pain in order to improve its treatment, bringing together a range of perspectives from biological mechanisms to clinical trials(see: http://www.nottingham.ac.uk/paincentre). The successful candidate will contribute to the expansion of the Centre’s research activities by; supporting other investigators in developing and facilitating collaborations, identifying research opportunities, preparing grant applications and publications.They will also have responsibility for specific research projects using individual patient data meta-analysis to identify predictors of treatment response in order to inform strategies for stratified care. This post is based within Academic Rheumatology on the City Hospital campus.
Candidates must have a PhD, clinical doctorate or equivalent in a relevant scientific or clinical discipline. Experience in systematic review/meta-analysis, IPD analysis or equivalent is essential.
This post is full time, 36.25 hours per week and will be offered on a fixed-term until 31 March 2019.
