We would like to invite you to attend the next Jisc Student Experience Experts Group meeting (formerly the Learning and Teaching Experts Group) taking place on the 23rd June 2016 at The Studio, Birmingham. The agenda for this meeting  covers a range of Jisc work including:

 

·         The findings from the Student/Learner digital experience tracker pilot – what students are expecting and experiencing of technology

·         The emerging findings from the Digital Student online learners study – how online learners are experiencing their digital environments

·         Resources and guidance from the Digital Student skills study – hearing how adult learners, work based learners, apprentices and offender learners are experiencing the use of technology

 

We are delighted to have the following guest speakers join us for this meeting sharing their experiences of using social media to support their students’ learning.

 

·         Scott Hayden, ýSpecialist Practitioner of Social Media and Educational Technology, Basingstoke College of Technology

·         Sue Beckingham, Senior Lecturer in Information Systems and Educational Developer (TEL), Sheffield Hallam University

·         Embedding Digital Literacy: Opportunities in Curriculum Design - Dr Rafe Hallett, Director, Leeds Institute for Teaching Excellence & Innovation

·         Understanding learning gain – and why this might matter to you - Corony Edwards, Corony Edwards Consulting

·         Scaling up live discussions - Lina Petrakieva, Academic Development Tutor, School of Health and Life Sciences, Glasgow Caledonian University

·         Could this revolutionise the way we do feedback and reflection? Russell Stannard, Educational Director, NILE associate trainer (Norwich Institute for Language Education)
