In practice I don't think the 'Mrs Bloggs is subscriber" option fundamentally changes the position.
There is still only one "individual subscriber". There are of course many permutations but Michael is effectively describing a hidden agency situation.
In the simplest: Fred as agent created the account for Mrs. Unless and until Fred and Mrs uncouple the agency agreement and effectively tell the company Fred can as agent cancel all marketing.
In the real world of course the company should ignore this, act on instructions received 'from' the person who ostensibly created the account and leave Fred and Mrs to sort it out.
